The Luyben Clarinet Ligature is one of the most iconic, well known ligatures.
Known for their marvelous combination of performance and affordability, the Luyben clarinet ligature has been used by almost anyone who has played clarinet!
These ligatures are made out of plastic in order to keep the weight impact low on the performance.
Inside the ligature, they feature 4 dual point contacts on the outside corners of the reed blank.
This allows for exceptional reed vibration and is especially good for student clarinetists as it does not hinder the reed’s vibration in any way!
Please note: The Luyben clarinet ligature needs to be stretched out to the mouthpiece. Luyben includes a full set of instructions on obtaining the ideal fit for their ligature on the back of their package.
